The Toronto Pride Parade and marches will be happening this weekend, on the following days and times:
- Trans March and Rally – Friday, June 23 at 7:00 PM
- Dyke March and Rally – Saturday, June 24 at 1:00 PM
- Pride Parade – Sunday, June 25 from 2:00 PM (IATSE section marches at 4:00 PM)
If you have not already signed up but would like to join your Pride Committee and union kin at one or more of the events, sign up HERE. If there are any last minute changes, you will be contacted by the Pride Committee.
For those who have already signed up (or for anyone able to attend on any of the days), here are some instructions for meeting points, times, and other useful information.
Trans March and Rally – Friday, June 23
Meet up time: 6:30 PM
Location: Asquith Green Park, 19 Park Road, Toronto, M4W 2N1
Dyke March and Rally – Saturday, June 24
Meet up time: 12:30 PM
Location: Asquith Green Park, 19 Park Road, Toronto, M4W 2N1
Pride Parade – Sunday, June 25
Informal meet up time: 2:00 PM
Location: North-east corner of Allan Gardens (close to Jarvis and Carlton)
Parade starting point: Bloor and Ted Rogers Way, Parade Section F14 (Look for IATSE flags)
Time: Arrive no later than 4:00 PM
For all days, please remember to check the weather and plan appropriately (raingear, sunscreen, etc.) and make sure to bring water with you.
As a reminder, by marching in the parade please be aware that you may appear in photos or videos taken by fellow IATSE members or members of the public/media. The images may be shared online on websites, videos, social media, and/or printed/broadcast by the media. We never want anyone to feel uncomfortable or outed by participating in the parade, however due to the very public nature of the event it is impossible to guarantee privacy from photos or videos being taken of you.
